Crash sensor, left/right

The left/right-hand crash sensors are located at
the bottom of the B-pillars. They transmit
acceleration data in digital form to the RCM.
The following instructions must be followed when
removing, installing or replacing the left/right-hand
crash sensors:
- Continued use of the left/right-hand crash
sensors after an accident is permissible
provided they have not been physically
damaged and they pass a self-test without
faults.
